Cedar Valley Regulators

The Cedar Valley Regulators is an NCOWS posse and serves

Northeast Iowa and neighboring states. CVR now hold their posse shoots along with .22 Silhouette and Creedmoor shoots at the Blaine Miller Range at Eldora, Iowa.  Cowboy shoots are held the 2nd Saturday May – September.  Shooter fee is $10 for members.  Juniors and first time shooters shoot free.  Anyone is welcome.

 The Big Bore shoots are held at Prairie Fire Range at Ackley, Iowa.  CVR sponsors two, 2 day buffalo shoots each year, along with a mid-long range shoot and other “special” shoots.

  Check the CVR web site for maps, further information and dates of all CVR shoots.

 Our posse supports NCOWS’ historically-correct clothing and accouterments guidelines during posse or big bore events.

 Our officers:  Blaine Miller, Marshal; Ron Warren, Deputy Marshal;

Joyce Warren, Editor; Cherel Trueman, Treasurer; Andy Bledsoe, Posse Judge; Jay Weber, Big Bore Judge; Rich Johnson, Jon Welda, and Steve Ehlers, Members-at-large; Karen Weber, Posse Representative to the NCOWS Territorial Congress.
