Lowland Regulators
The "Lowland Regulators" are a somewhat peculiar group within the National
Congress, as they are the first foreign NCOWS posse, based in The Netherlands
(Holland).
Although (target)shooting forms part of our activities, we are in the first
place a living history / re-enactment group. As such we ask authenticity from
our members right from the start (We are usually able to help new members out
with some authentic gear).
The Lowland Regulators are part of a larger society, the "Vereniging voor
Militaire Living History" (Society for Military Living History). Other areas of
activity of the VMLH are late medieval, early 17th cent, French & Indian War,
Napoleonic Wars, the War between the States, and World War II.
Posse members do not have to be active (target)shooters., but for those who are,
membership in the KNSA (Dutch "NRA") is compulsory.
