Marshal Thorpe called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.

Marshal Thorpe swore in the new Senators and Representatives

Weber (Cedar Valley Regulators), Alvestad (Fort Des Moines Rangers), Torrence (Kansas Vigilance Committee), Chenult (Johnson County Rangers), Ersland (Hickory Hills Regulators), N. Rollins (Nebraska Territorial Rangers), Bursovsky (Blue River Regulators), Burman (Palmer Creek Vigilance Committee), Caldwell (Border Regulators), Coop (Great Lakes Freight and Mining Company) 11

Motion to destroy ballots for Senator elections.  Glenn/Williams   Passed

 

Motion to move elections of Executive officers from end of Congress Meeting to this time. C. Rollins/N. Rollins  YES: Carpenter, Hartwig,  C. Rollins, Thorpe, Trueman, Burley, N. Rollins, Bursovsky, Caldwell    (9)   NO: Brannon, Glenn, Irons, Kroemer, Scott, J. Weber, Williams, K. Marshal Thorpe appointed Cherel Trueman to record the minutes for this meeting.

 

Minutes of 22nd Territorial  Congress November 20th and 21st,  2005 approved as published. K. Weber/Hartwig       Passed

 

Bankers Report (hand out to all present) approved. J. Weber/Caldwell      Passed

 

Hartwig suggested the Executive Committee look into purchasing C.D.s

 

.Herb Gindules reported that present Convention is in the black and going well.  The dates of February  17, 18, 19, 2006 are open for us to use with a $500.00 increase on the center.

 

Motion to hold Convention 2006 on February 17, 18, 19 in Council Bluffs with Herb in charge again. Williams/Trueman      Passed

 

Trueman reported the land was still available-but won’t hold without an offer and deposit.  No grants available at this time.

 

Motion that NCOWS should pursue buying land. Coop/Bursovsky  YES: Glenn, Williams, Ersland, Coop (4)   NO: Brannon, Carpenter, Goodwin, Irons, C. Rollins, Scott, Trueman, Warnick, J. Weber, Burley, K. Weber, Alvestad, Torrence, Chenault, N. Rollins, Bursovsky, Burman , Caldwell  (18)   ABSTAIN:  Hartwig, Kroemer (2)       Failed

 

Marshal Thorpe appointed Irons to chair a committee to investigate ranges available for rent.

 

Motion to approve New Ruger  Vaquero, Beretta Stampede and Colt Cowboy revolvers.  Williams/Alvestad NO: Caldwell      Passed

 

Motion to 24th  Territorial Congress meeting November 12 &13, 2005 with location to be determined. Trueman/Caldwell  NO: Torrence, Coop, Chenault          Passed

A written signed agreement will be made with Groninga Hills L.L.C. agent Steve Groninga.
